A pair of oilfield services contracts was awarded to Danos in May for water infrastructure projects in Texas and New Mexico.
The first involved assignment of 50 to 60 workers in support of water treatment operations in Midland and Orla, Texas, for an independent land company. The second contract called for construction of two saltwater disposal facilities near Carlsbad for an E&P company.
“This is the first time Danos has provided production personnel on this scale for a water treatment facility,” said Eric Danos, owner of the company. It also marked the first time Danos has contracted to provide turnkey SWD facilities for this E&P company in the Delaware, he added.
The SWD facilities will employ approximately 25 field crew from Danos’ fabrication, construction, project management, instrumentation, electrical and coatings service lines, Danos said. “These contracts greatly expand our footprint in the Delaware, which is a key area of growth for Danos and the industry.”
Based in Gray, LA, Danos is a family-owned company that has provided oilfield and shorebase management services for 72 years.
